Street Markets on Maui

Browse the outdoor street and farmers markets and grab a unique souvenir or local delicacy. With its year-round exquisite weather and aloha vibe, Maui is home to an array of fun ways to shop.

Upcountry Farmers Market

The oldest living farmers market on Maui, Upcountry Farmers Market is well known for its diversity of products, including homemade banana bread and husked coconuts to Macadamia nuts, Maui-grown coffee, and lilikoi (passion fruit) butter.

Located at the Kulamalu Town Center, Upcountry offers stunning panoramic views of Maui. Here you can sample Thai and Indian cuisine, as well as a Hawaiian staple, breadfruit — said to look like a grapefruit but taste like a potato.

Maui Swap Meet / Exposition

Featuring over 200 vendors, the Maui Swap Meet takes place each Saturday at the University of Hawaii Maui College in Kahului. Wander this quirky market and discover a token or treasure, from leis and fresh flowers to handmade crafts and jewelry.

On Friday, we market

Friday town parties are a well-loved Maui tradition, and you’ll find one every Friday in a different location, from Wailuku 1st Fridays to Lāna‘i 5th Fridays. These town parties are a perfect way to get to know Maui and its culture, from food booths and trucks to art, shopping, and free entertainment

Each party is unique in that it showcases its host town — Wailuku, Lahaina, Makawao, Kihei, and Lāna‘i — offering a peak into the local businesses, people, and vibe.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience a true street market in an exotic location, come stay with us at our Hyatt Residence Club Maui, Ka‘anapali Beach, and make your dreams a reality.
